Following the adage “Think Globally, Act Locally,” Ion Green Technologies LLC is committed to developing and deploying Green technologies that will lead to a healthier global environment by addressing the sustainability needs of its individual customers.
Ion Green Technologies LLC (IGT) is being created to work in conjunction with its non-profit partner company, Building Tomorrows Inc. (BTI), which observed that recent downturns in the economy have resulted in an increase in demand for services provided by non-profit agencies while contributions from the public and other sources have decreased. In response to this dilemma, BTI is acquiring promising Green technologies and is investing in IGT to refine these technologies and bring them to market. This will enable IGT to support BTI’s non-profit service missions through license royalty payments (to which it refers to as “tithes”) for the use of BTI’s technologies along with dividend payments to BTI and other investors.
IGT will focus on developing and deploying eco-sustainable technologies for construction, power generation, water purification, and other important areas. A natural by-product of these efforts will be the creation of much needed jobs. It will initially deploy these technologies in domestic manufacturing plants that support residential home construction for BTI and other clients. Because of the performance, cost, and scheduling advantages provided by these technologies, IGT also plans to help address the huge demand for housing that exists in many developing countries.
